Bookbinding Materials

The preparation of a PVC composition includes preparing and mixing of all components thereof. It is the composition and formulation of a PVC mixture that determines such important characteristics of bookbinding materials as their increased abrasion resistance and high color fastness.

PVC coated bookbinding materials are produced by Ivanovoiskozh by calendering. This technology of coating a paper base with PVC film ensures a high level of adhesion between the PVC film coating and the paper base as well as durability of our bookbinding materials. Furthermore, our calendering line makes it possible emboss on fabric thus creating relief images on the material processed and special appearance thereof.

Patterning and finishing bookbinding materials are a specific phase in production thereof. The patterning creates a special appearance of the materials produced and the finishing enables them to retain their characteristics for a long time.

Each batch of fabric is tested for their compliance with standards, regulations and specifications at our own certified testing laboratory. Only the material that has been duly tested and certified for compliance with quality standards can be rolled and packed.
